In 1913, the Usa of America Foot Ball association came to be. A whole century later, the governing body the Usa Soccer Federation now known is celebrating a big wedding and Nike is outfitting them with a classy new system. The new kit, in a word, is clean. It is greatly influenced by the equipment worn in america ' first match, a gain against Sweden, in 1916. It borrows many style cues from the 1913 initial (worn in the 1916 Sweden fit), revealed below, but has been updated with lots of modern flair. The human body is extremely white but functions beautiful dark blue highlights on the sleeves and the v-neck collar. The stars and stripes are displayed lower down as clever small triangular positions nearby the sides. On the inside of the neck, supporters will find this year's special-edition centennial US Soccer crest. Then, there is the primary talking point: the newest (old) crest. It's larger, it is retro, and hot damn, it seems great. If you've been on Twitter, you'll probably have observed the cries from fans asking USSF to replace the existing flying basketball marker with this beauty. The new crest is larger than previous versions (a to the 1913 original again) and features 13 stripes and 13 stars, a detail found on the original and clearly referencing the 13 colonies. Like different Nike products of this technology, the shorts are constructed of 100% recycled polyester (the shirts use a minimum of 96% recycled polyester) with each set recycling 13 plastic bottles in the act. They also use Nike's Dri-FIT technology to wick moisture from the people' systems with the construction being 23% lighter than previous years while maintaining a stronger knit. It'll be used by both men's and women's groups (with Clint Dempsey and Alex Morgan modeling, below) and characteristics white pants with blue trim as well white sock socks with blue trim.
