Stevan Jovetic and Giuseppe Rossi certainly are a lot alike. Both were purchased while still very younga'Jovetic by Fiorentina and Rossi by Manchester Uniteda'and both know what it is prefer to have an extended lay-off through damage. But while theAMontenegrinAhas been allowed to develop slowly into certainly one of Europe's most comprehensive forwards, first in the rates of Partizan Belgrade and then in Florence, Rossi's life has been a nomadicAexistence. The New Jersey-born Italian made a high-profile move from Parma to Manchester United as a teen and was expected for the most effective. Ever since then, he's been anywhere but. A fruitless loan-spell in Newcastle disappointed before an even more promising reverse in Parma. Rossi's proceed to Villareal looked like it was a good match for the forward. Still young, but suffering from accidents, he found a group where his considerable talents could be developed by him without the demands that include battling somewhere like Old Trafford. Clear of problems in 2010-11, he scoredA32 objectives in 56 games and recommended that great things were in the future both in La Liga and with the Italian national team. Then came twoAanterior cruciate ligament injuries andAVillareal's relegation to theASegunda Division. The same injury kept Jovetic out for a time in 2010, however when healthy he is been a standard startera'and scorera'for Fiorentina since his relocate 2008, a team that though perhaps not without its troubles, has performed well on a limited budget: the perfect proving ground for a new striker. Now, the Viola have them both. So can be they Serie A's next great strike relationship? Sadly, the answer's probably in the negative. Accidents have dogged Rossi because he was a teen and you can find reasonable doubts about his capacity toAconsistentlyAcontribute to Fiorentina's cause. TheAa35Amillion launch clause in his agreement is a way of measuring his potential, however the a10 million bargain that Montella got in signing him is just as telling. He is a risk and he came in as damaged goods. There's no other cause for a 26-year-old Italy global to go for less than double that. Needless to say, incidents hampered Robin Van Persie for a lot of his life at Arsenal, but most of us discover how Manchester United's play on the Dutchman has been training. If Rossi's fit, he's a game changer. He is also a person with a great deal to prove. He could possibly be an incredible signing for theAGigliati. Anyway, incidents aren't what'll end this pair becoming the peninsula's most dynamic duo. It is Europe's largest clubs who threaten to split them apart before they've also had a chance to show us what might have been. Collection are allegedly determined to get Jovetic's ailments and are stated to possess already made a A25 million bid. Juventus have already been long-time admirers, and Manchester City are lurking around, too. And that is not counting Napoli, who might have plenty of money to invest if Edinson Cavani progresses to pastures new. Vincenzo Montella will be needing a miracle toApersuadeAJovetic to stay.AFiorentina certainly are a area in transition, with a talented young coach and a team saturated in promise, not least inAAdem Ljajic, who Jovetic has known since their Partizan days. But crucially, it's unlikely they will maintain the Champions League. And that's where Jovetic belongs. Given a couple of seasons, Montella may put together a group that may challenge on a level. Or he may perhaps not. His investment is increasing and a supply may possibly come that's too good to refuse. The league's getting stronger, and it'll not be so easy for the Florentines to improve on their budget. What exactly is Jovetic to complete? The romantics in our midst may encourage him to stay and complete a perfect forward line with Rossi. But aAleading part for a high Premier League side that competes in the Champions League is an offer no small striker might decline. His new partnerAwill know that better than anyone.

The Dangers of Golf GPS
I got an amusing press release from GolfBuddy recounting the story of a golfer on holiday who inadvertently racked up thousands of dollars in data charges using his phone as a golf GPS. The international charges ran to more than $3,000. I'm sure that was quite the shock when he returned home to Germany.
On a Boy Scout camping trip we took to Canada this past year, everyone was warned to turn their smart phones off—and leave them off—to avoid accidental international data charges.
I've used a smartphone GPS on occasion and found two problems. First, it chews through the batteries. On my phone, I can usually only get through fourteen or fifteen holes. Second, on more isolated courses (and there are many of those in Michigan), I can't get a proper signal.
GolfBuddy, the world's leading golf GPS company, stepped in to help a German golfer who racked up a £2,000 mobile phone bill after using a smartphone app while on a golf holiday abroad.
The unwitting tourist used a downloaded GPS golf programme to chart his way through three days of golf - but didn't realise every time he checked a course layout for distances he was incurring huge overseas roaming data charges when the app connected to his phone network.
In a bid to understand more about his mistake, he called GolfBuddy's German distributors Green Grass Golf, who pointed out the error of his ways and sold him a GolfBuddy Platinum - which can be used fee-free anywhere in the world.
The story came to light at GolfBuddy's recent annual international sales conference, in Dusseldorf, attended by representatives from Germany, UK, Korea, USA, Australia, France, Finland, Belgium, Holland, Japan and Ireland.
Said John Ennis, GolfBuddy: "It's an amusing story but a hard-earned lesson and the perfect illustration why all golfers should use purpose-built golf GPS devices rather than phone apps.
GolfBuddy specialises purely in the manufacture of golf distance measuring devices and walks golf courses to create ground-verified accurate maps, which increases the supreme accuracy of their GPS devices over competitors who simply use satellite imagery.
GolfBuddy is the clear global leader in golf GPS development and, unlike other GPS brands, GolfBuddy never charges any annual membership fees, subscriptions or course download costs.
For a golfer, owning a GolfBuddy is completely fee-free - for a lifetime - and over 36,000 maps in 130 countries are available from its own database, the largest in the world of any golf GPS company.
GolfBuddy is a Corporate Partner with the PGAs of Europe as its 'official handheld GPS rangefinder'. For more information about GolfBuddy visit http://www.gpsgolfbuddy.eu
Notes to editors: GolfBuddy is the world's largest golf GPS brand. Based in Korea and the USA , with subsidiaries in Japan , Australia and Europe , GolfBuddy has sales operations in over 37 countries around the world. Its database of free golf course maps is now over 36,000 strong, eclipsing its major competitors. CONTACTS
2013 NFL Draft Grades: Full Scores for Each Team
Several teams emphatically addressed concerns during the draft, while others could have done a much better job. Some teams took the best player available, regardless of position.
Due to an unpredictable first round, a lot of talent slid in the 2013 NFL draft. Players like West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith, Notre Dame inside linebacker Manti Te'o, Tennessee receiver Justin Hunter and Florida State offensive tackle Menelik Watson were all second-round selections.
Some people think drafting guard Jonathan Cooper at No. 7 overall was a reach, but he has versatility—with the ability to play both guard and center—and he will instantly help the run game in Buffalo. Also, I really liked the picks of inside linebacker Kevin Minter (No. 45 overall), defensive back Tyrann Mathieu and defensive end Alex Okafor in the second, third and fourth rounds respectively.
I loved the pick of cornerback Desmond Trufant after the Falcons lost Brent Grimes to free agency, but I didn't like them taking another corner in the second round when they had a few positions to address. Defensive end Malliciah Goodman was a good value pick in the fourth round.
Opening up the draft with safety Matt Elam, linebacker Arthur Brown, defensive tackle Brandon Williams and defensive end John Simon is a job well done. Brown could be a steal at No. 56 overall. I may have picked Western Kentucky defensive end Quanterus Smith over Simon, though.
I like the picks of receivers Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin, inside linebacker Kiko Alonso and safety Duke Williams, but I can't give the Bills a good grade after drafting quarterback E.J. Manuel at No. 16 overall...over Geno Smith, Matt Barkley and even Ryan Nassib.
Landing Star Lotulelei at No. 14 overall? Can you say steal? The Panthers had a clear need in the middle, and they addressed that emphatically with Lotulelei and Purdue's Kawann Short. Drafting Kenjon Barner in the sixth round—who could help as a change-of-pace back and on special teams—was also a good move.
I thought offensive lineman Kyle Long was a reach at No. 20 overall, but the Bears were desperate to add talent to the offensive line...as always. But you can't argue with Chicago selecting linebackers Jon Bostic and Khaseem Greene and stealing offensive tackle Jordan Mills in the fifth round.
I loved the pick of Tyler Eifert for the Bengals. He gives young quarterback Andy Dalton a weapon to throw to. Jermaine Gresham was awful last season. Beyond that, the Bengals nabbed the talented Giovani Bernard in the second round to help with their backfield depth, a steal in athletic freak of nature Margus Hunt and a talented safety in Shawn Williams.
I know the Browns needed a pass-rusher, but drafting LSU's Barkevious Mingo—a raw prospect who may never become a complete player—was a reach at No. 6 overall. Cornerback Leon McFadden is a good value pick at No. 68 overall. His size is concerning, but he simply makes plays. Notre Dame safety Jamoris Slaughter was also a nice value pick in the sixth round.
I liked the picks of tight end Gavin Escobar, receiver Terrance Williams and safety J.J. Wilcox, but I hated the selection of center Travis Frederick at No. 31 overall. I can understand drafting your guy, but Frederick did not belong in the first round whatsoever. There was a lot of talent the Cowboys passed up on in that spot.
Sylvester Williams was a logical move for the Broncos, but I question the selections of running back Montee Ball and cornerback Kayvon Webster so early in the draft. I think Denver could have gotten more value in those spots.
BYU's Ezekiel Ansah has been compared to Jason Pierre-Paul in terms of explosiveness and athleticism, and he fits a need in Detroit. I thought grabbing cornerback Darius Slay, who has a meniscus problem in his knees, was a bit of a risk at No. 36 overall. Kentucky guard Larry Warford will surprise in the NFL.
How can you complain about this draft? The Packers found an instant starter opposite Clay Matthews in Datone Jones and grabbed one of the most talented running backs in the class in Eddie Lacy to help out with the run game. Offensive tackles David Bakhtiari and J.C. Tretter were great value picks.
Taking DeAndre Hopkins over such receiver prospects as Cordarrelle Patterson and Keenan Allen was the right move. I love his route-running and football IQ. Safety D.J. Swearinger will help on the back end.
I thought it was a bit of a reach to draft offensive tackle Brennan Williams in the third round. Talented LSU defensive end Sam Montgomery—who turned some teams off during the interview process—was worth a gamble in the third round. I also like the selection of Connecticut defensive end Trevardo Williams.
Bjoern Werner is not a bad prospect, but UCLA's Datone Jones would have been a better pick here in my mind. The picks of guard Hugh Thornton and center Khaled Holmes were logical with a young quarterback under center. Tennessee-Martin defensive tackle Montori Hughes could end up being a steal in the fourth round.
The Jaguars may be down and out now, but grabbing my favorite offensive tackle in the class, Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel, at least guides them in the right direction. Grabbing Florida International safety John Cyprien with the first pick in the second round was also a smart selection.
Connecticut cornerback Dwayne Gratz will probably be an immediate starter. Nabbing South Carolina receiver Ace Sanders in the fourth round was a solid pick, who should help out in the slot and in the return game. And while some believed taking Michigan's Denard Robinson in the fifth round was a bit of a reach, I think his value lied there. He could help out in special teams from the start.
I disagreed with taking Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher over Luke Joeckel, but it's not like Fisher is a bad pick, either. He should provide immediate help on the line.
Landing one of the biggest sleepers in the draft, tight end Travis Kelce, at No. 63 overall was a big move. I like the Chiefs taking a chance on the talented but injury-prone running back Knile Davis in the third round. Grabbing Alabama inside linebacker Nico Johnson in the fourth round was a nice value pick.
Nabbing outside linebacker Dion Jordan and cornerback Jamar Taylor at No. 3 and No. 54 overall respectively has me liking what the Dolphins did. Everything beyond that was so-so. I think they reached for Utah State corner Will Davis in the third round, but I also like the selection of blocking tight end Dion Sims in the fourth round.
Landing Sharrif Floyd at No. 23 overall—one of the top defensive tackles in the class—had to feel good for the Vikings. Beyond that, they grabbed a big corner in Xavier Rhodes who could start right away and the explosive Cordarrelle Patterson to help make up for the loss of Percy Harvin in the offseason.
I thought both outside linebacker Jamie Collins and receiver Aaron Dobson were reaches at No. 52 and No. 59 overall respectively, but they did add some depth at positions of need. Rutgers cornerback Logan Ryan could be a steal at No. 83 overall.
The selection of Rutgers safety Duron Harmon in the third round was a complete surprise. Nabbing TCU receiver Josh Boyce at No. 102 overall could end up being another steal.
Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro will be an instant starter in New Orleans. He was not only the best safety in the class, but he also fills a need for the Saints. Offensive tackle Terron Armstead is a project player, but landing him at No. 75 overall was a good value pick. And how did Georgia defensive tackle John Jenkins fall all the way to No. 82 overall?
I like the pick of Justin Pugh as long as the Giants use him at guard instead of tackle. Grabbing defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins in the second round was a solid move. Defensive end Damontre Moore (selected in the third round) could end up being a steal. Ryan Nassib is a talented quarterback. He still has some developing to do, but drafting him in the fourth round was a good value pick.
The Jets have to be ecstatic to have Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner on their roster now. Adding Geno Smith in the second round to compete under center was a wise move, one that Rex Ryan probably made with hesitancy.
Adding some bulk in the interior of the offensive line with guard Brian Winters was an adept move. While some didn't understand why the Jets drafted Sheldon Richardson when they didn't have a need on the defensive line, I think it allows Ryan to use Quinton Coples at outside linebacker from time to time, rotating both players. Richardson could be a good one, too.
In terms of talent, cornerback D.J. Hayden wasn't a bad pick at No. 12 overall. But, coming off a life-threatening injury, there are questions about whether Hayden will be the same player. I thought it was a reach, and I would have taken Washington cornerback Desmond Trufant instead, or a defensive tackle like Sharrif Floyd or Star Lotulelei.
But grabbing offensive tackle Menelik Watson at No. 42 overall was big. I also liked the selections of Connecticut outside linebacker Sio Moore and Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson in the third and fourth rounds, respectively.
Lane Johnson is a great fit for the Eagles. He's one of the most athletic offensive tackles in the class, which fits with Chip Kelly's up-tempo offense. I also liked the selection of Stanford tight end Zach Ertz in the second round.
Adding a stout defensive tackle in Bennie Logan in the third round was smart. Grabbing USC quarterback Matt Barkley in the fourth round could be a steal. He'll compete with Michael Vick and Nick Foles in Philadelphia.
Jarvis Jones was a logical pick. He may not have elite explosiveness, but he's exhibited good hand usage, the ability to create leverage and high football IQ. Le'Veon Bell fits extremely well in Pittsburgh's scheme, and he fills a need in the backfield. I also liked the picks of receiver Markus Wheaton, safety Shamarko Thomas and quarterback Landry Jones, who could develop under Ben Roethlisberger's wing.
Drafting Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker at No. 11 overall was a reach, but it addressed a clear need. He'll be an instant upgrade on the line.
I'm not the biggest fan of Manti Te'o—who the Chargers drafted at No. 38 overall—but there's a chance his instincts make him faster on the field than his 40-yard dash time at the combine suggested. There are character concerns attached to Cal receiver Keenan Allen, but landing him in the third round? I'll take it.
I will say that I didn't like the 49ers trading up to grab safety Eric Reid (missing out on an opportunity to draft Sharrif Floyd), but nabbing Florida State defensive end Tank Carradine in the second round equaled everything out. If Carradine can stay healthy, he could be a beast in the NFL.
Adding Rice tight end Vance McDonald helps ease the departure of Delanie Walker. Finding Auburn defensive end Corey Lemonier at No. 88 overall was a steal. Marcus Lattimore was the most talented back in this draft class—if he can stay healthy, he could be the successor to Frank Gore.
Time will tell if Christine Michael was the right choice at No. 62 overall. He has the talent to be an impact player in the NFL, but there are character concerns surrounding him. Defensive tackle Jordan Hill is a good fit in their scheme. Alabama's Jesse Williams—who they grabbed in the fifth round—could end up being a steal.
The Rams not only got quarterback Sam Bradford some help with West Virginia receivers Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey, but adding talented linebacker Alec Ogletree could pay dividends—if he stays out of trouble.
Johnthan Banks fits as a press corner for the Buccaneers. Big-armed Mike Glennon will look to pressure quarterback Josh Freeman. Grabbing defensive tackle Akeem Spence was a nice move.
Grabbing Michigan State defensive end William Gholston could or could not be a good pick in the fourth round. Gholston has the talent, but he needs to be more consistent.
While the Titans signed former Buffalo Bills guard Andy Levitre in the offseason, adding Alabama guard Chance Warmack gives them a sterling overall offensive line. Chris Johnson can't complain about a thing now.
Stealing super-athletic receiver Justin Hunter in the second round gives young quarterback Jake Locker a dynamic playmaker to work with. Connecticut cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson soared up draft boards during the draft process and could be a steal in the third round.
The Redskins needed help in the secondary coming into the draft, and they responded by drafting cornerback David Amerson out of N.C. State. Amerson could be a first-year starter, but this was somewhat of a risky move. Amerson is a boom-or-bust prospect.
I thought the Redskins got great value with tight end Jordan Reed and safety Phillip Thomas in the third and fourth rounds, respectively.

The Boston Bombers Womenas Baseball Staff Want One To Forget That Title Actually Occurred
You know in most this confusion, we forgot that thereas a womenas semi-pro baseball team called the Boston Bombers. There was, we have to say. It didnat take really miss the staff, that is connected to the Womenas Blue Chip League, to alter its name and take down its existence online. They might have changed the name on the official web site, and taken down their Facebook site, but there is still some stuff out there with the Boston Bombers name and logo. This website, as an example, which promotes the Boston Bombers Skills Academy. Obviously, Bombers supporters called the team and asked for a re-do. aWe changed it because of the events Monday,a a spokesperson told Gawker. aOur supporters [were] not happy with the name.a The staff informed Gawker that it hasnat decided yet on a new title, but this web site generally seems to suggest that its the Boston Bulldogs. The Biggest Questions for Miami Dolphins Heading into the 2013 NFL Draft
The Miami Dolphins are ready to compete now. Jeff Ireland is all in for 2013, and while cynics will tell you he is simply fighting for his life as a general manager, Dolphins fans love the bottom line.
Miami is in a position to draft the best players available in 2013 because it may not have any glaring holes by the time the NFL draft rolls around.
Last year, before the draft, the Dolphins had an abundance of weaknesses and questions, which included quarterback and receivers.
Two years ago, Jonathan Martin was one of the top left tackles at the collegiate level. He was protecting Andrew Luck's blind side at Stanford.
After being selected in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft by Miami, Martin started all 16 games last year. The 6'5", 312-pound tackle began the season as the Dolphins right tackle and switched over to the left side for the final four games due to Jake Long's injuries.
Dave Hyde of the Sun Sentinel believes that Miami's limited pursuit of Jake Long was a testament to the team's belief in Martin.
The main criticism for Martin is his questionable strength. Martin has vowed to improve during this offseason and, according to Hyde, Dolphins coaches would rather see him on the left side of the line.
If this is the case, Miami can solidify its offensive line by signing Eric Winston. Winston is interested in the Dolphins, and Miami has the cap space.
Jeff Ireland saw something in Dimitri Patterson when he picked him off the Cleveland Browns' trash bin. Does he believe Patterson can be Miami's second or third cornerback?
Patterson also needs to impress in training camp as his $4.6 million cap number can be completely written off if he does not play in the first game of the regular season.
Last year, Patterson had no interceptions and five passes defended. These statistics were accumulated in nine games, seven for the Browns and two for the Dolphins.
The Miami Dolphins made at least two attempts (Michael Bennett, Osi Umenyiora) to improve their pass rush from the right end position.
The 2010 first-rounder, Odrick, has been underwhelming, producing 35 combined tackles and five sacks in 16 games last year.
Odrick's saving grace is that he is still playing on his reasonable rookie contract. Regardless, Odrick's time may have passed, because he may not even be starting in 2013. Olivier Vernon may be given a full test run.
Odrick is still young (25), so there is hope for improvement. The question is whether he will receive an ample amount of snaps to show it.
Last year, Miami ranked 27th in the league, allowing more than 248 passing yards per game. Reshad Jones was a standout at strong safety, so that leaves everyone else to blame.
Sure, Miami's cornerback situation was weakened after the trade of Vontae Davis and Richard Marshall's injury, but what can we say about Chris Clemons' play?
Clemons started all 16 games and made 98 combined tackles and two interceptions. The lack of interceptions definitely brings Clemons down a notch, but Jeff Ireland liked him enough to re-sign him to a one-year, $2.75 million contract.
Reggie Bush was a dynamic player for the Miami Dolphins, but his production should be easily matched by Lamar Miller.
Miller is fast (4.40) and more powerful than Bush. Last year, Miller rushed the ball only 51 times but averaged almost five yards per carry. His backfield blocking should improve this season, and he will likely be Miami's 2013 workhorse.
There are more questions about Daniel Thomas. The 2011 second-rounder has averaged 3.5 yards per carry in two seasons. Thomas has also missed seven games due to injury.

Emirates State of Mind: Jay-Z and Coldplay star Chris Martin watch Arsenal ... - Daily Mail
Coldplay singer Chris Martin and American rapper Jay-Z were spotted at the Emirates for Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
He said: 'I don't know a lot about the business of soccer, but in the future if the right opportunity presented itself, then who knows?
The point gained against the new Premier League champions on Sunday afternoon did them no harm, leaving them in fourth place.
Jay-Z's favourite Arsenal player was Thierry Henry and although he has left the club, Theo Walcott - wearing the Frenchman's No 14 - opened the scoring.
Adam Rooney on a free? FIFA rejig may let star buy herself out of Man United... - Mirror.co.uk
Striker will undoubtedly be over 28 and three years into his agreement next summer, meaning he'd meet the requirements to scrap its final year Matthew Peters Fred Rooney could stop Manchester United for only A12million annually from now, writes the Sunday People. Rooney may become certainly one of the first a' and most high-profile a' people to benefit from a tightening of FIFA's regulations to be arranged in the coming weeks. The England striker could be allowed to get himself out from the closing year of his deal with new Premier League winners United, paying the wages left and making himself offered to sign for another team without a cost. That would cost a fortune to Rooney but as a shop window when he would have the Planet Cup finals, he is certain to create much more as a free agent in the summer of 2014. As he will be over 28 by that stage and more than three years into his latest agreement, signed in October 2010 after a long question the former Everton babe qualifies. These are two boxes he's to beat. FIFA are under some pressure to explain their controversial Article 17 rule which allows people to leave their groups before their contracts are up. There was a landmark event when Wigan signed Andy Webster from Hearts but that has been improved since and now clubs are protected from losing their people a' and may look for more income in compensation based on previous exchange charges. But FIFA will evaluate Article 17 in the summer and are required to rule towards the people. Rooney is going to be on around A240,000-a-week in his final year at United, to ensure that means a likely A12m buy-out.
Collection vs. Manchester United: Critique and TELEVISION plan - SB Region
With a Champions League area still to fight for, Arsenal will undoubtedly be gunning for three factors contrary to the Premier League champions. ArsAne Wenger has confirmed that his side may form a guard of honour for the newest winners, though there'll be no standing on ceremony when the motion actually gets underway. System are third, nevertheless will fall below Chelsea and Tottenham and beyond your Champions League locations if said pair win their games at your fingertips. Arsenal will be wanting that Manchester United will ease up after the title was sealed by them, though winning their remaining games would ensure that United set a brand new Premier League factors history. They can make changes to the team which beat Aston Villa last Monday, with Tom Cleverley, Nani, Danny Welbeck and Javier HernAndez more likely to start. Darren Fletcher, Paul Scholes and Ashley Young will certainly play no part -- they are out injured. For Arsenal, Aukasz FabiaAski, Abou Diaby and Ryo Miyaichi may also be unavailable with harm, in addition to striker Olivier Giroud, who includes a three fit bar. The Clubs With the Average Newest Age in the Premier League
Which team gets the youngest average age in the Premier League? And vice-versa, which membership has got the oldest average age? The answers might surprise you. First, the club with the oldest average is the one that sits at the very bottom of the league a Queens Park Rangers, where the average age is 28. Perhaps you might draw a connection between the age of the group and the teamas poor performances this season, where Harry Redknappas part has seemed to lack the gas in the 2nd half suits to turn draws into benefits. Next, the group that has the youngest average age isn't Aston Villa, nonetheless it is certainly Liverpool. The common age of the Liverpool squad is 23.22 years. As a confident in that the quality of the group must increase since the footballers get more skilled the young age is seen. At as players may learn face to face the same time, the young age of the group could be viewed as a bad. Taking a look at the info, what're a few of the interesting findings that you see? Reveal them in the comments section below. H/T Liverpool Hamilton Academical.

Initial League - Pienaar offers Everton make an impression on Fulham - Yahoo! Eurosport UK
Steven Pienaaras early purpose was enough for Everton to eke out a 1-0 Premier League gain at home to Fulham. While they did actually tire in a closer second period, the South African completed a wonderful team move soon after the quarter-hour mark of a half your home area centered. The Toffees moved up their game in the closing stages, very nearly got an additional but were enied by some bad concluding and good goalkeeping, including a terrible miss from Marouane Fellaini. It mattered not in the end as, shorn of Dimitar Berbatov after an accident in the first half, Fulham provided little in the last third. Everton kept on for a win that cements their hold on sixth place and puts them three points shy of fourth. Fulham, meanwhile, keep 11th as Southampton and Norwich City were both crushed. Martin Jolas part came with an awful historic report at Goodison a' having lost the prior 19 category fits there a and they showed no sign of breaking the habit as Everton focused from kick-off. Fellaini should have opened the scoring in the last second with a free header put straight at Mark Schwarzer, but the hosts went forward on the quarter-hour mark after having a amazing group purpose. David Moyesas part were attacking with speed and verve, equally full-backs overlapping at will as Leighton Baines and Pienaar gave a time to Stanislav Manolev at right-back. And it was Pienaar who broke the deadlock, moving the ball past Schwarzer after having a wonderful driving shift that culminated in Seamus Colemanas cut-back to the unmarked South African. It looked Everton could run riot as Nikica Jelavic missed a few half-chances, while Pienaar set wide and Fellaini had a rasping finish blocked by his own team-mate Victor Anichebe. Fulham, who dropped Berbatov to injury on the half-hour, did have a couple of half-chances later in the half as replacement Mladen Petric was inches far from converting Kieran Richardsonas cross-shot, while Alexander Kacaniklic found his end expected behind by Tim Howard after an uncharacteristic mistake by Phil Jagielka. Having controlled the first half, Everton seemed to ease off in the next, as possibilities were few and far between for both sides. Confidence was gained by fulham, coming forward more and occasionally showing extended spells of person, with Urby Emanuelson reaching wide eight minutes in. Everton, meanwhile, were working, Phil Jagielkaas header wide from the Baines free-kick as effective as it got before the latter stages. They increased in the final 20 minutes, evaluating Fulham with a range of set-pieces while Kevin Mirallas had a punishment attraction refused following a collision with Manolev. Schwarzer made an exemplary end from a classy Mirallas volley while Anichebe headed just over as Everton moved closer to an additional. That next goal should attended whenever a Baines combination totally bypassed Schwarzer and his support to find Fellaini unmarked at the far post with the goal at his mercy a yet somehow the Belgian set it over the bar. There was another opportunity for the hosts to ensure victory as alternative Ross Barkley was denied by another great Schwarzer preserve, and after turning down the final moments in the place victory was claimed by Everton to drive them nearer to a Europa League position. Length Assessment a Nippon Modus 3 Trip 130 Metal Length
By: Matt SaternusNippon has long been a favorite iron shaft among those in the know, holding a huge reputation for small specifications and great feel.A Why arenat they more prevalent?A One reason is obviously a lack of marketing, but another big reason was the lack of possibilities for abetter players.a Nippon was mostly known for lighter weight steel that launched the ball high.A Even the Modus3 Tour 120, while heavier in weight, was a higher launching shaft similar to a KBS Tour.A Nevertheless now, with the Modus3 Tour 130, Nippon has a shaft that aims to compete with the kings of the hill, Project X and Dynamic Gold.A Does it hit the mark? The Nippon Modus3 Tour 130 is available in both.355a taper tip and.370a simultaneous tip. It will be around in Regular (121 grams), Stiff (124 grams) and X (129 grams) Fold Profile: Idea Section a' Soft to improve release Mid Section a' Stiff to market control of start and spin Butt Section a' Stiff to promote get a grip on and solid feel at effect You are able to expect you'll discover the Nippon Modus3 Tour 130 at retail for approximately $40/shaft. Any other steel shaft on the market and the starkest distinction between a shaft is feel.A Thereas a fresh and clean experience that's the signature of a, and no other steel shaft that Iave tried can match it.A The Modus3 Tour 130 is no exception. It must also be observed that the balance position of the Modus3 Tour 130 is greater than Dynamic Gold, leading to a membership that seems lighter than it is. In the looks department, the Modus3 has striking, red design produced directly on the shaft.A In this golferas belief, thatas the single greatest aLooksa update a steel shaft could have: no-one wants wrinkly shaft stickers. Finally, I desire to note that, the same as with the Modus3 Tour 120as that I tested, the tolerances are amazing.A I weighed each of the ten shafts and none weighed less than 123.5 grams and none more than 124.5 grams.A For the club designer or the spec-obsessed, choosing Nippons is really a no-brainer. For the Performance screening, I installed the Nippon Modus3 130 shafts into a of Wilson FG Tour V2 heads.A They were tested against a of Dynamic Gold S300 shafts that were installed in the exact same heads.A Testing was performed on a FlightScope X2 introduction check. In face to face testing in the lab, the Modus3 Tour 130 matched the Dynamic Gold photo for shot.A Launch was practically identical through the set as were the spin rates.A There was also no visible difference in accuracy: good swings led to good, expected shots.A Bad swings produced similar effects as well. Additionally, I had the chance to perform 36 holes with the Modus3 while touring far from snowy Chicago.A The move to playing the Modus3 was non-existent.A All my irons went the same distance as they do with Dynamic Gold, photographs flew on the same flight, and the dispersion was exceptional (also hit a pin). Golfspy Tim also had an opportunity to check the Modus3 Tour 130as.A Hereas what he found: Graphite? Who requires graphitea. (seriously, Iave never found a graphite iron base that loved me) Having been enjoying Nippon shafts for more than 6 months now, Iave fallen deeply in love with their smooth feel. Exactly the same rings true with the N.S. Professional Prototype shaft a' starting probably somewhat below my present players a the 950 GH. The N.S. Bit is required just a by pro Prototypes more loading than the 950 GH and wouldnat i'd like to get away with a lazy swing. Iam already a massive admirer of Nippon and this shaft continues my admiration of the clean sound and feel on impact. With the inclusion of the Modus3 Tour 130, thereas today a Nippon length for absolutely everyone.A While some may possibly flinch at the cost, I think that the experience and the unparalleled specifications make Nippons worth the money.A Whether youare improving some previous heads or getting fit for a fresh set of irons, make sure Nippon is on your own listing of aMust Trya items. Denard Robinson Drafted in 5th Round by Jacksonville Jaguars
Denard Robinson mightn't venture to be a quarterback in the NFL, but his rate, shiftiness and playmaking ability may earn him a chance to compete for a spot at the following level. The Jacksonville Jaguars produced their fifth-round draft pick to Robinson on Saturday, taking the one-time quarterback from Michigan with the No. 135 decide. Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports sums issues up in this tweet: Although a lot of assume Robinson to produce the switch from QB to wide receiver, it is worth noting that Jacksonville declared him as a running back when the pick was madea'a fact mentioned by NFL.com's Ian Rapoport on Twitter and numerous announcers broadcasting the event: The cameras were on Robinson in his house or apartment with family, while the pick was reported on-screen. Bleacher Report's Twitter account had the picture of his face when Jags administration made the call: A four-year person under Rich Rodriguez and Brady Hoke at Michigan, Robinson broke onto as a Heisman choice the scene at the start of his sophomore season. He fascinated people with his read-option capacity under center and runs that made the quickest players in college football look slowa'all while never tying his shoes. 36 months as the starting QB for the Wolverines demonstrated two thingsa'Robinson could break a run for a touchdown at any time, and he wasn't the type of pocket-passer you wanted to create a group around at the next level. While his college career was finished by "Shoelace" with over 6,200 yards passing, 49 passing touchdowns and a 57.2 percent conclusion proportion, the majority of his damage got on the ground, where he ran for 42 touchdowns and 4,495 yards during his amount of time in Ann Arbor. Replaced by Devin Gardner in the heart of the time after an injury forced him out of the selection, Robinson's Michigan job ended the same way it'll probably begin in the NFL. Unless it's among the "Wildcat" range, more likely to line up in numerous places on the line of scrimmage to push the protection to adjust to his speed he will not be properly used as a QB. Expect Robinson to also contribute as a special teams returner through the first section of his NFL career; special teams could be the only method an NFL roster is made by Robinson. The reviews on as a real playmaker his ability are undeniable, even though it is disappointing that the child will not have an opportunity to compete for a job as a QB. Based on Notre Dame head mentor Brian Kelly, Robinson is far and away the absolute most powerful person he's ever experienced in school (h/t Daniel Wasserman ): Former university QBs like Brad Smith, Joshua Cribbs and Antwaan Randle El all come to mind when conjuring up pictures of successful position changes in the NFL, and these men provide Robinson hope to make the move to WR although he just began playing the position in the latter 1 / 2 of his senior year. As a pick, good value is presented by Robinson as a and some long-term potential as a slot recipient who will change the game with the ball in space. His career trajectory is just starting, and the Jaguars think he is able to make an effect on the list as a late-round steal. Joining a gifted number of skill people that features Justin Blackmon, Cecil Shorts and Jordan Shipley, Robinson will have his work cut out for him to help make the Jacksonville list downright after training camp. He truly gets the skills, but learning a fresh place following a decade to be a is harder for some than it's for others. You shouldn't guess against Shoelace making an instantaneous influence in Jacksonville, if you listen to teammates, coaches and scouts. Robinson ties unpleasant handle Luke Joeckel, safety Jonathan Cyprien, cornerback Dwayne Gratz and WR Ace Sanders as Jacksonville's 2013 NFL draft picks.
Time is Running Out For Arsenal To Protected Winners League Area
As the sun sets on yet another enthralling Premier League period, Arsenal are once more vying for Champions League soccer. Is this a surprise? No. Is this unacceptable? Yes. Plainly, investment is a term often associated with Arsenal, but for many wrong reasons. Dropping their best and only world class participant to the eventual champions was a pill to swallow and honestly their time has progressed in a manner that demonstrates the increased loss of their key man. At the beginning of every season, their manager strongly asserts they are authentic name competitors but as remains the case, their problem falters by mid-October. The difficulties within the club are deep-rooted, but can they be rectified and if that's the case how? Football is an excellent game, evoking a barrage of euphoric and unpleasant emotions within a regular group game, however for Arsenal supporters in 2013 has been a totally gut-wrenching experience. Being humiliated in the domestic glasses by lower league weight is hard enough to take, but add in a number of over-paid sportsmen and you've a significant problem. How have Arsenal been permitted to disintegrate into a team pleased to secure next place, when they became the only real team in the modern age to perform a normal season undefeated. Investment categorizes their predicament, or lack thereof. With the priciest time passes in the entire Premier League, revenue shouldnat be a concern for the club. However it has undoubtedly contributed with their progressive decline over the past number of seasons. But, in spite of poor investment and the failure to displace world-class footballers with similarly skilled participants, something else is at the cause of the problem at the club. And unfortunately that is the director. I am the initial to take all the tremendous things he's produced and given to the English game, but his failure to address this horrible slide into mediocrity has been painful to look at. A feature of his early years in the position was an innovative tactical system and a watch for a person that other managers can only desire owning. Regrettably these items have gradually deserted him and now he's becoming more of an obligation for the team than you can ever have imagined. And now the club has been struck by The FA suspending striker Olivier Giroud for three of the last four matches of the growing season. Where may Arsenalas goals come from? Would a year without Champions League soccer reward the team in the future? Certainly it'd free them of unwanted hope and allow them to target their efforts on mounting a serious concept problem. If this was to happen, would the injection of a new boss carry with it a new ethos to restore the prospects of this traditional club? A certain Scottish boss currently working in Merseyside is out of commitment in the summer and could represent a bold and revolutionary visit. His power to mold teams in his image and make quality soccer marks him out while the ideal choice to lead Arsenal out of these recent mediocrity. Clearly Arsenal are an excellent team, but the general malaise that's set in over the last two months is difficult to fix and only via an change of the boss and a bunch of under-performing participants will they go back to challenging really for the Premier League title once again.
City cruise home against Hammers - Fox Sports
Manchester City have responded to losing their Barclays Premier League title with a 2-1 victory over West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium.
Sergio Aguero broke the deadlock for City in the first half after some great build-up play, but the Hammers battled hard to stay in the game and had their chances to equalise.
However, Yaya Toure's tremendous strike seven minutes from time put the result beyond doubt and cemented City's standing in second place, with Joe Hart's fumble from Andy Carroll coming too late to give West Ham a chance.
Having seen Manchester United clinch the title with a win over Aston Villa on Monday, Roberto Mancini's men were determined to respond in style and welcomed David Silva back from injury after he missed the 3-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.
Silva fired a shot narrowly wide in the early stages as City immediately settled into a fluent rhythm, while Aguero scuffed an effort against the post after the ball had deflected fortunately into his path.
As supporters of both clubs applauded after 23 minutes for Mark-Vivien Foe, who died ten years ago, City goalkeeper Hart was tested for the first time by a powerful Mohamed Diame volley through a crowded penalty area.
But it was City who opened the scoring on 28 minutes following a sumptuous passing move, with Samir Nasri playing an intricate one-two with David Silva before cutting the ball back for Aguero to sweep in a finish from close range.
It was nearly 2-0 moments later as Jussi Jaaskelainen pulled off a superb double save, first parrying a long-range Nasri drive and then getting up quickly to deny Pablo Zabaleta on the rebound.
City stayed in control for the remainder of the first half but West Ham came out strongly after the interval and Zabaleta did well to clear a threatening cross from Matt Jarvis towards the back post.
The Hammers also had appeals for a penalty waved away by referee Howard Webb as a Jarvis cross struck Zabaleta on the arm, before City regained the initiative.
Tevez had an effort brilliantly blocked by Joey O'Brien before Nasri squandered a glorious opportunity to double City's lead when he failed to get a proper connection on his shot from close range at the back post.
Nerves started to creep in at the back for City as the clock ticked down and James Collins fired narrowly wide, before the tension was released by a ferocious strike by Toure from the edge of the area on the 83rd minute that flew into the top corner.
City had chances to further extend their advantage and Hart also had to make a save from Carroll's header in a frantic finale, before the England goalkeeper embarrassingly failed to keep out a strike from the same player and allowed the ball to squirm through his legs just before the final whistle.

Rodgers that! Birmingham City want Liverpool employer to replace Roberto Mancini - Mirror.co.uk
Irishman was on the Blues' wanted record this past year - while Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez can also be in the frame Ian Horrocks Brendan Rodgers is the surprise title in the body to replace Roberto Mancini as Manchester City manager, creates the Sunday People. The Liverpool employer has significant behind-the-scenes support at the Etihad despite a hit-and-miss first season at Anfield. The Blues power-brokers feel the 40-year-old Irishman fulfils most of the criteria they think necessary a' like a willingness to body small players early, media skills, and European experience a' and the ace in his pack is he is proficient in both English and Spanish. Rodgers was Cityas first decision this past year when he was at Swansea and Mancini was on the rules a' ahead of the dramatic recovery that saw his part topped Premier League champions. Now the Irishman is straight back on City radar, with Mancini maybe not safe even when he wins the FA Cup the following month. Rodgers has two years left on his Liverpool contract so City would need to pay compensation a but that wonat discourage them. Chelsea Employer Rafa Benitez can be a live contender for the City post a' sources near to the Spaniard say he is determined for the task. But itas the search for Rodgers, only a year in to his Liverpool profession, that'll increase most eyebrows.
Mancini: Manchester City must move rapidly in the transfer market - Goal.com Singapore
The 48-year-old attributes his side's failure to retain their Premier League title to an inability to sign their objectives easily enough and wants a noticable difference come july 1st The Italian's men were crowned winners last term but can only watch on as opponents Manchester United covered the 2012-13 prize with a 3-0 conquer Aston Villa on Monday and the 48-year-old has blamed their failed subject support on a deep failing to secure their goals quickly. "You should move very quickly. We didn't do this last year," Mancini told reporters. "We moved so slowly. We dropped the players that have been our goals to enhance our team. "I think that when you build your group you need to start like in this case, in the long run of this tournament. We have time but not a lot of time. We must have our goals in mind." The Italian also admitted that United received their group name this season by showing more "attitude" than his part but feels that City were unlucky in suffering "big problems" with injuries. "United have significantly more attitude than us, as a club, as a team," Mancini included. "We had huge problems with players wounded. "They did better than us, they won lots of games in a row, it absolutely was really difficult."

Bayern, Borussia Dortmund herald energy change - Yahoo! Activities
STUTTGART, Germany (AP) -- The hope of seeing Lionel Messi fall into line against Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champions League final, of watching Barcelona and Real Madrid fight for supremacy, is all but washed away. As opposed to viewing Spain's two mightiest teams play for the premier trophy in team football, it is a great deal more likely that the German clubs Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund may meet for the name May possibly 25 at Wembley Stadium. With Messi still nursing a injury, Barcelona was totally outplayed by Bayern on Tuesday in Munich, losing 4-0. About 24 hours later, Real Madrid was humbled 4-1 by Dortmund, with Ronaldo rating his team's solitary purpose and Robert Lewandowski striking for four for his team. That's German clubs 8, Spanish clubs 1. And with regards to European football throughout the last several years, that's a very big deal. ''It is the progress of football,'' said Andres Iniesta, a Barcelona person who groups with Messi and Xavi Hernandez to create up probably the most terrifying group in the game. ''We need certainly to increase so we can keep fighting for brands in every competition.'' Barcelona and Madrid may still achieve the last, but don't count on it. The second legs of the semifinals are a few weeks in Spain. Barcelona must gain by five goals to advance, or at the very least match the 4-0 cause force additional time. Madrid has the easier option, seeking a 3-0 win to progress on away targets. At this time of the tournament, nevertheless, that has never been done. Therefore the likelihood is that Bundesliga success Bayern will undoubtedly be playing because of its fifth European Cup against Dortmund, the team that won the past two league games in Germany. ''There is no remedy for this amazing Bundesliga that's wonderful the football world,'' wrote Jose Samano, the principle basketball author for the Spanish daily El Pais. ''Barcelona, the maximum of most teams of recent years, did not have the answer on Tuesday, or did Madrid last night, a giant that seemed to have appeared in peak form heading toward its 10th European Cup with an exceptional galaxy of participants and a coach with a better status than any other. Both were combined over.'' Real Madrid may be the most effective team in European Cup history with seven games, but hasn't reached the ultimate since winning in 2002. Barcelona has won four, including three since 2006. Neither made the ultimate this past year, with Barcelona losing to Chelsea in the semifinals and Madrid falling to Bayern. Chelsea then beat Bayern in the last. It would be further proof that the Bundesliga may be the healthiest group in Europe, If you have a first all-German final this season. Bayern has been peaking recent seasons and will be in its next final in four seasons, the last being that distressing reduction to Chelsea on penalty kicks while playing at home. The Munich membership has used smartly since, adding size and muscle in signing opponent Dante and midfielder Javi Martinez as well as striker Mario Mandzukic. Dortmund is more of a shock. The team move the party phase last time, hardly escaped bankruptcy in 2005 and could won the Champions League in 1997. In 2013, it's the only undefeated team in the Champions League. Even though winning goal came from an offside position it beat still another Spanish team, Malaga, in the quarterfinals. Therefore with Spanish clubs showing to stagnate and German clubs rising, there is much discuss a change in power. ''This isn't the finish of an ' Barcelona Vice President Josep Bartomeu told Catalunya Radio on Thursday. ''There is a design to the team and it'll carry on. We will go forward with the exact same foundation that we have now. New participants will arrive. There are certain positions that people need to strengthen. That is just how of things.'' But age could be only one factor in the observed change. The Bundesliga has 18 clubs, two fewer than other top leagues, meaning fewer activities. And unlike most others, it requires a lengthy cold weather break, giving a chance to participants to recover. Also, German Cup matches are one-leg matters, also meaning fewer games. Internationally, Germans have been finding out about to Spain for years: Germany dropped the 2008 European Championship final to Spain and fell again to the Spaniards in the 2010 World Cup semifinals. Now, the Germans might have moved past their role models. ''Amazing. In two days, the two best students of the class have already been brushed aside in Germany,'' author Alfredo Relano wrote in the Spanish activities daily AS. Possibly the most striking example of the ascendancy of German groups is that Pep Guardiola, a Barcelona star player and greatly successful instructor, can take over at Bayern next time. Barcelona won 14 out of 19 possible titles in his four years in Spain. But despite this week's result, Guardiola's old group isn't likely to quit therefore quickly. ''When things don't go your way you've to count to 10, wait until everyone calms down just a little, and take some time to consider and use reason,'' Iniesta said. ''If we want to keep competitive like we've been and struggle for games, we need to improve a lot of things for the simple reason that to keep on winning you always have to obtain better.'' Next week, Barcelona should be a lot better should they desire to progress. Madrid, also. --- Associated Press author Joseph Wilson in Barcelona, Spain, brought to this report.

Kenseth calls harsh charges 'really unjust'
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) a Matt Kenseth says NASCAR's penalties against his team are "grossly unfair" and "borderline shameful." Brandon Albert Isn't the Perfect Solution Is for Arkansas Sharks
Mike Longas stint since the Miami Dolphinsa starting left tackle finished when he signed for the St Louis Rams. It's now exposed a huge gap on the Dolphinsa offensive point, as well as suggestions that the Dolphins may possibly investigate an industry. Adam Schefter of ESPN, described earlier the other day that Kansas City were in trade talks with the Miami Dolphins,Afollowing Brandon Albertas decision to sign his business tender. Brandon Albert is dueA$9 millionAthis year, and while the Dolphins have enough money to sign Albert, they werenat willing to pay big money to Jake Long. Even though Albert has outperformed Long before couple of seasons, there are similarities between your two. Albert, like Long, had injury issues throughout the last year, where he was troubled by a right back injury for some of November and December. Additionally, Albert, at 28, is older one year the Long. Eventually, Albert, like Long, would like a large payday. While itas unlikely that money was Longas main motivation for going to St Louis, his decision to leave suggests Miami werenat willing to part with big money for him. If thatas the case, then why would they spend a lot more to sign Albert, who is one year his senior, and also had damage issues last year? Albert was very vocal concerning the decision to team tag him. And equally vocal about not wanting to proceed to right tackle to allow for a novice on the left side, leading to him shutting down his Twitter account. There is nothing to recommend Albert doesnat give his all on the training ground or the gridiron, but aoutspokena is scarcely a desirable character trait in Philbinas locker room. Then perhaps parting with a draft pick can, if all these concerns still donat set Miami off Albert. Tim Ireland did a good work stockpiling picks with this yearas Draft. It hardly seems practical, though it wouldnat be a shock to deal a pick for a person in a draft which is piled with stable fights. As ESPN reported, if Miami wanted to give up a pick, then why not give up a second and industry up in the draft to pick among the top-three tackles? Henry Joeckel might be out of reach, but Eric Fisher and Lane Johnson could be possible objectives. They would not just enhance the Dolphinsa youth motion, but would also come at a fraction of the price tag on Alberta'without medical or identity question marks. With all things considered, there is a great deal that doesnat make sense surrounding this story. The price of finding Albert seems very good, and thinking about the powerful draft type, surely having a young tackle makes more sense if the Leading Office are uncomfortable with Martin protecting Ryan Tannehillas blindside. Ultimately, the move not just appears like one that Miami shouldnat make, in addition, it resembles a that Miami wonat make. And donat forget, the Dolphins were linked with trading a pick for Ravensa limited conclusion, Dennis Pitta, late a week ago. Those rumours basically preceded Miamias signing of Dustin Keller.
May Kofi Kingston's U.S. He is Taken by title Win Back again to Popularity in WWE?
Kofi Kingston picked up a huge success on last weekas Raw by beating Antonio Cesaro to get to be the United States Champion. Well, that really depends upon what your definition of a ahuge victorya is. Though there are many fans who think that Kingstonas stunning US title victory will require him back to prominence in the WWE, there are just as many, or even more, fans who think that it ultimately wonat mean much for him in the long run. It might be too early to share with today, however, not if you look straight back at Kingstonas record in the WWE. Kingston made his debut in January 2008 and has been one of the companyas most widely used babyfaces from the time then, but his career has been one thatas been defined by hardly any advancement and a whole lot of lateral motion. Actually, horizontal movement has been probably the biggest detriment from what once appeared to be a very promising career for Kingston. That isnat to say that he hasnat had any success. In the end, Kingston has racked up 10 total championship reigns to date in the WWE and has almost always had a safe position as a well known midcard babyface. But whatas more telling than his double-digit title reigns is what those reigns have, or have not, done for Kingston. Once you analyze exactly what heas performed throughout his five-plus years in the WWE, youave probably noticed that Kingstonas aprogressa has primarily been nothing more than a mirage. It is apparently there, but really, we can all note that it isnat. Besides his late 2009 feud with Randy Orton, Kingston has never risen above top of the midcard for a considerable time frame. As an alternative, heas remained strongly entrenched as you of the several midcard babyfaces who is able to consistently put on great matches, keep very over with the group and turn up in the subject scene from time to time without anybody actually asking it. Several, however, will question whether or not another midcard subject wina'like his United States Championship victorya'is really a step up the right way or another false sign of hope for Kingston. With the way Kingstonas profession has played out going back five years, thereas nothing that should suggest that his most recent concept win can raise him when none of the prior ones obviously have. Kingston is a four-time Intercontinental, three-time Tag Team and three-time (and present) United States Of America Champion, whicha'at least on papera'is quite a impressive resume. But a superstar might have dozens upon dozens of midcard title victories, and nothing would be meant absolutely by it if these reigns did, effectively, nothing for the superstar involved. However, thatas been the case for Kingston. Since the price of the WWEas midcard brands has been lower in recent years than at probably any point in recent memory, Kingstonas championship reigns basically havenat equated to an up the card. Rather, theyave served as a way that has kept the WWE satisfied together with his personality. It seems like the WWE realizes that Kingston is the divisionas title can be carryed by a reliable midcarder who whenever the creative group doesnat have someone else it wants to provide the title to. Therefore, Kingston gets trapped in a role thata'although it isnat a terrible anyone to be ina'stifles him. Heas nearly too dependable in the sense that the WWE knows precisely what the company will get out of hima'entertaining matches, high spots, decent crowd reactions, etc.a'when it canat say that in regards to a large piece of the lineup. Consequently, Kingston finds herself holding a midcard concept every now and again without it every fundamentally leading to something greater. Heas become the definition of a placeholder and/or transitional winner, and heas been in that part for way too long now that that seems to be the thing many supporters see him as. In ways, itas a genuine testament to Kingstonas skills to execute well and regularly do so. At the same time frame, itas a bit of a hit in the facea'as if itas the WWEas way of expressing, aYouare great, however not great enough to obtain additional than place been providing you.a And now, the WWE has provided Kingston still another run with america Championship, but just like most of his other midcard subject reigns, it wonat convince benefit him much. Heas holding the title again because the WWE doesnat know who else to place it ona'not because heas finding a major press. Sorry, but thatas just the way it's. Robert Lewandowski slams four previous Real Madrid as Dortmund seize control - The Guardian
First Bayern Munich, now Borussia Dortmund. Barcelona fell on Tuesday; a day later Real Madrid fell in a manner so similar, so comprehensive, concerning further fuel suggestions that the European balance of power has moved north. For a second consecutive night a Spanish giant admitted four goals in Germany. Madrid at least obtained an away target, giving them the kind of desire for the second leg that Barcelona were denied, but an amazing four-goal show from Robert Lewandowski did for them. Actually his easiest purpose, a charge, was taken with the type of authority that shocked. Madrid, like Barcelona the night before, might have few complaints: this Dortmund victory was richly deserved. JosA Mourinho's part could even be considered lucky to own got a target at all, coming from virtually their only clear chance and gifted in their mind by Mats Hummels just before half-time. "It is obvious that the most effective staff won," Madrid's instructor conceded. His staff were out-powered and outplayed, Dortmund's gain being clinched with similar rate and precision, energy and effectiveness, whilst the previous night's Germany-Spain battle. That swarm of red had turned black and yellow. Not really the terrible time of Mario GAtze's a37m (A31.5m) signing for Bayern Munich might derail Dortmund, though there may be a touch of disappointment if it is considered that the team's brilliance on this period may hasten its dismantling. But on Wednesday evening that didn't matter. It was time and energy to enjoy it. "If they want to harm us, they'll maybe not succeed," JArgen Klopp had said. Instead, Dortmund destroyed Madrid. And everything began with an excellent GAtze supply, too, a swirling right-foot cross from the left that found Lewandowski scrambling in towards the far post. Lewandowski wrestled free off Pepe and launched himself at the ball to volley it in to the web. The overall game was only seven minutes in nonetheless it was not their first opportunity. Two minutes early in the day Sami Khedira had been robbed and Marco Reus was soon racing through, as he'd be often. He brought a sharp save yourself from Diego LApez and the jump dropped just too wide for Lewandowski to be able to show it towards goal. There was a collective pace about Dortmund that was breathtaking. Madrid fought to have out of the back and, when they did, it felt like they were walking in to a trap. An instant theft and Dortmund were off again, the sound rising in the ground because they advanced. Their changes were swift and frightening, Madrid's place shut down in numbers. With the cause, Ilkay Gundogan controlled the speed, switching gears, and Reus maintained working. He was still running right to the final. In the forward breaks, a number of the touches at speed were excellent. Madrid were momentarily lost, their only strategy to find free-kicks as a temporary respite. Quickly Jakub Blaszczykowski was dashing to the place on the right and ready to shoot only for Madrid's center forward, Gonzalo HiguaAn, to block. GAtze and Lewandowski then just didn't connect and next attack Reus again was away from home. Into the region he went, tumbling under challenge from RaphaAl Varane. He seemed to have now been bundled over, his leg possibly trimmed, however it wasn't entirely clear. Suddenly, quickly, in the process of the indignation, Madrid were level. Hummels played a dreadful pass back to his keeper, HiguaAn achieved it and slid the ball across for Ronaldo to complete just. From 2a'0 to 1a'1 in the flash of a watch. However if Madrid appeared to be in it since the half-time whistle went, the feeling was a fleeting one. Five full minutes into the 2nd half, Dortmund were in front. Sergio Ramos had furiously sprinted to the linesman to insist that Lewandowski had been offside when the Pole turned perfectly and nudged past LApez from eight yards. He was wrong, but also for a moment the house fans held their breath. When Lewandowski obtained his next goal, the hat-trick energy, their breath was taken away. Again he turned sharply on his right foot, rotating far from Pepe to create a little bit of room for herself. This time around, from further out, he thumped a rocket shot into the top of the web a' a brilliant effort to accomplish a brilliant trio of objectives. And he was not done. Gundogan's growing photo was superbly stored by LApez and then, on 67 minutes, the Dutch umpire, Bjorn Kuipers, gave a fee. Inevitably it absolutely was Reus breaking to the field, to be pressed down by Xabi Alonso. Lewandowski got the charge, deciding on an extended, arcing, quick run-up, like a bowler to arrive from round the wicket, and thrashed the ball into the web. Four goals were not sufficient; still Dortmund's players poured forward, still they attacked. But for LApez there could have been a fifth or even a sixth. The probabilities were theirs. Until, in the last moment, Roman Weidenfeller had to create a wise save at the feet of Ronaldo. Then, in stoppage time, Varane shot around. It would have been significantly more than Madrid earned. It was an old evening. And it was Dortmund's evening.
French legion time must be given by jan Molby: Newcastle United fans to decide - ChronicleLive
He could not have been the initial foreign person to star in English soccer however when it concerns understanding life in England, there are few better than Scouse-speaking former Denmark global Jan Molby. The ex-Liverpool star went from a shy, retiring significance from Ajax to one of the loudest voices in the Anfield clubas trophy-laden dressing room during a golden age for Newcastleas weekend opponents. But with a clutch of people starting a similar journey at Newcastle toA knowledge at Liverpool, he believes that there's as it pertains to providing overseas stars the necessary settling-in time in the Premier League a alack of understandinga. And though Newcastle United supporters are tired with reasons why their group have sloped from the top flightas top five to the bottom five in 12 weeks, Molbyas point of view on to arrive from offshore gives a compelling argument regarding why United CAN return to the business end of the table next season. Toon players were heavily criticised following the new derby beat and it's recognized that Unitedas French legion took the criticism to heart in the aftermath of the 3-0 loss to posture rivals Sunderland. Many of Unitedas January signings were engaged that day and Molby knows only too well that adjusting to residing in a new state, learning a new language and coping with a new group all takes its toll. After taking his time to settle in at Liverpool after signing from Ajax, Molby continued to get awards galore with the Kop area. Now he thinks that after stars like Moussa Sissoko and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa get yourself a pre-season under their belt, they can help take Newcastle back again to the upper reaches of the Premier League. In an special interview Molby informed the Chronicle: aThere isnat that knowledge any longer. aI came (to England) and people were willing to give a time to me to stay in. aUnfortunately when you come in from abroad the players donat have that advantage any longer. aPeople want them to accomplish the company right away. aThe last number of people Newcastle have earned all look ready. Next time theyall be good. They've goals in the staff. If you've that, you'll be OK.a Newcastle haven't any choice but to call home with the pain of derby defeat until at least next August. Unitedas overseas stars were accused of perhaps not knowing the installation or using it too carefully. But Molby says: aIn terms of derbies, yes, sometimes you donat comprehend at first. aI enjoyed in my first Merseyside derby and there was build-up all week. aBut it isnat until you really lose the overall game that you see what it means. aWe dropped 1-0. You then realise exactly what it really means in the fall-out. aPlayers always try their best, but sometimes you simply fall short. aYou look at all of the numbers and the Tyne-Wear derby were in Newcastleas favour. aThey had the ball the most, more pictures on and off goal, but their energy were low. aSunderland had all week to prepare, Newcastle had a huge game against Benfica.a Molby knows how hard it could be switching from Europe to England and admits that life is quite different to life on the Continent, anything that Unitedas French stars will be working with at this time. Back in 1984 Molbyas introduction to the English life style was nothing short of a baptism of fire. Odd Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar only took Molby from the sanctuary of his college accommodation before buying the drinks in a pub and disappearing to the night. Throughout an speech for Papiss Cisseas Friends of Sedihou charity night, Molby recalled: aI heard a knock on the door on the Sunday night before instruction, and it absolutely was Bruce. aHe explained, aCome on weare going outa. But I replied, amazement donat venture out in Europe on a Sunday night, we get and curl up ready for work on Mondaya. aBruce insisted and left me stood in a bar filled with Scousers. He ordered the drinks then went. aYou know once you see somebody from abroad carrying one particular jumpers and think aWhere on the planet is he from?a aWell, that was me. I was stood there and I was asked by a Scouser where I was from. aI said I was from Denmark and he said, aOh weave only signed someone called Jan Molby from Denmark.a aI said Iad never heard about him, to which his answer was, aI hear he was rubbish anyway!aa But for Newcastle fans, it's all about the here and now and, as United make to lock horns with the Merseysiders again on Saturday night, Molby a' speaking with a rich Scouse highlight a said: aItas not unimaginable. aBoth groups have the standard, but desire a little bit of luck. aThere were several groups that have inked well like West Brom and Everton, so there's always that chance for the both of these next year.a Molby has one piece of advice for Unitedas French aces a' and that is to know they've landed in one of the worldas footballing hotbeds. After spending a lot of his profession at Liverpool and enjoying time visiting Newcastle, Molby says: aThe two cities have become similar arenat they? aPeople in Liverpool have become thinking about their two teams and I think it is the same in Newcastle when it comes to Newcastle United in terms of the enthusiasm. aIn Liverpool and Newcastle you donat see children playing around in sets from all over the area, they support their particular group. aNewcastle is really a specific place. I will have good memories ofA Newcastle because I was part of some wonderful games up there.a

Bayern Munich Recognize Deal to Signal Borussia Dortmund Striker Robert... - caughtoffside
Allianz Arena to take up Polish global. Register to Borussia Dortmund compared to True Madrid Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed a to sign much desired Polish international Robert Lewandowski according to Spanish resource AS. They claim that the representative of current Bayern Munich chef Jupp Heynckes, Enrique Reyes, has proved that the Borussia Dortmund forward would follow current team-mate Mario Gotze to the Allianz Arena come early july. This type of move would keep supporters of the Westfalenstadion area flabbergasted at the sale of two of their star turns for their main Bundesliga rivals. Jurgen Klopp has seen his part lose their grip on the name to Bayern Munich though still fighting right through to the Champions League semi-finals. This kind of move might possibly keep other members of the Borussia Dortmund group wondering where in fact the clubas goal lies. 24 year old Lewandowski scored 30 goals in all games last period and is the utmost effective scorer in the Bundesliga this year with 23. This type of move would keep many thinking about the futures of present Bayern Munich strikers Mario Gomez and Mario Mandzukic under inward boss Pep Guardiola. Bayern Munich wouldnat look like in just about any serious need of a group shake-up after romping to the Bundesliga subject and thrashing Barcelona 4-0 in their first leg of the Champions League semi-final last week.

Manolev has been restricted to just four Premier League appearances because of the form of right-back Sascha Riether but is still keen on a permanent move.

Rio Ferdinand calls Birmingham Town and Liverpool also-rans new - Belfast Telegraph
By Ian Herbert a 24 April 2013 Birmingham United's Rio Ferdinand has ignored two of the groups who have tried and didn't shatter the recently crowned Premier League winners' stranglehold on the title, proclaiming Liverpool "have not been seen since" after moving for the title under Rafael Benitez four years ago On a when Manchester City's gloom in viewing United dethrone them for a 20th subject triumph was compounded by strong recommendations from France that Paris Saint-Germain have beaten them to the signing of the Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, Ferdinand also got a place at Roberto Mancini's side. "It is obviously special whenever you win the title and it is good to do it here, in the right way and in type, not on target difference," said Ferdinand, subsequent Monday's 3-0 win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford. "We have won it completely and we've won it comfortably." The United leader, David Gill, said that they did not consider anybody club to be their primary contenders a' 12 months after City's name produced premature suggestions that the total amount of power was shifting in Manchester. Area had hoped to begin their spending early this summer, although reports from France suggest that Cavani is ready to agree a cope with PSG, under which he'd demand A7.2m annually plus bonuses and join his former Napoli team-mate Ezequiel Lavezzi in Paris. Ferdinand, who has now won six games at Old Trafford, said acquiring the title so emphatically a' they could yet break the things record set by Jose Mourinho's Chelsea in 2005 by winning their last four games a' shows the "resilience and the attitude in the team the manager [Sir Alex Ferguson] has developed. Plenty of other clubs could possibly have fallen away. We enjoyed a couple to Liverpool of seasons ago when they were fighting for the concept, we beat them and surely got to the group before them and they have perhaps not been seen since. That shows the thinking and character this club has." Sunday's stop by at the Emirates offers the possiblity to present the gulf between United and Arsenal. Robin van Persie, whose hat-trick against Villa closed the title and took his tally in the Premier League in 2013 to 24 goals, reflected on what going to Old Trafford last summer had delivered precisely what his former team Arsenal had not. "I had to attend a lengthy time," Van Persie said. "I have been speaking about it with Rio and he is been telling me: 'Listen, whatever occurs, that is the standard .' He's right. From now on, our new standard is annually we want to be champions and we want to get more." Ferdinand dismissed suggestions that this United title-winning aspect is inferior to others. "I think because it's different eras," he explained it's useless wanting to examine groups. "It makes good bar talk and good media talk, however for us, it's neither here nor there a' it is about winning. We regard every one of the teams which have gone before us," Ferdinand added, "but we only wish to be part of this club's history."

Fantasy NASCAR Picks for Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond
There will be many familiar picks in Group B. Fantasy NASCAR players would like to save some of the best drivers for later in the season, but the top drivers in the group all perform well at Richmond.
My sleeper pick this week is Jeff Burton. The Virginia native performs well at his home racetrack. Burton finished the last race at Richmond in sixth place.
Here are the four drivers I selected for Group B and stats from the NASCAR Media Center based upon their career stats at Richmond…
Kyle Busch had a horrible race last week at Kansas. He will bounce back this week at Richmond. Busch is the best driver in the field this week.
Busch has four wins, 12 top-five finishes, 13 top-10 finishes and one pole in his 16 career races at Richmond. Busch has the second-best driver rating of 113.9, the second-most fastest laps run with 508, the second-most laps run in the top 15 with 5,607 and the third-best average running position of 7.6.
Carl Edwards has become one of the best drivers at Richmond over the past six races at the racetrack. He has finished five of the last six races at Richmond in the top 10.
Edwards has three top-five finishes, eight top-10 finishes and one pole in his 17 career races at Richmond. Edwards has the sixth-most green flag passes with 816 and the 10th-best average running position of 15.3.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the pole for the September race and finished second in the April race at Richmond in 2012. He has been hit or miss at Richmond, but the way he is driving this year, I think he will finish in the top 10 this week.
Earnhardt has three wins, nine top-five finishes, 11 top-10 finishes and one pole in his 27 career races at Richmond. Earnhardt has the fifth-most fastest laps run with 320 and the fifth-most green flag passes with 820.
Mark Martin knows how to get around Richmond. He won the pole for this race last year and has finished his last three starts at the racetrack in the top 10.
Martin has one win, 18 top-five finishes, 30 top-10 finishes and five poles in his 54 career races at Richmond. Martin's average running position of 13.1 is seventh best, his 4,099 laps run in the top 15 are seventh best and he has the seventh-best driver rating of 92.6.
