Fulhamas 1904 Plans for Stevenage Road Stand [PHOTO] #ThrowbackThursday

Fulham still has among the quaintest baseball grounds in the top flight of England. A close runner-up is Goodison Park, but Fulham sets itself apart by having a smaller ground with the Cottage set in the part in addition to the lovely Johnny Haynes Stand that runs along the side of the message, with its gable a' one of many several gables left at a ground across Britain. The team a week ago discussed their 1904 ideas for the Stevenage Road Stand (now renamed the Johnny Haynes Stand). You can see a version of the impression here, that will be much larger and where you can see more detail. Itas amazing to think that the same stand stays used 99 years later and has been relatively unchanged in all of that time. H/T The Initial Winger.
