Coaching carousel begins to spin in NBA

The NBA's instruction carousel is already spinning in three cities, with more prone to come. Doug Collins resigned as instructor of the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, a shift that has been obviously predicted after the posturing of the last few days. Collins surely got to choose his or her own course, while Byron Scott and Lawrence Frank didn't have that option. Scott was dismissed after three seasons leading the Cleveland Cavaliers, while Frank is out after couple of years with the Detroit Pistons. Frank and Scott were possibly the two instructors most likely to manage firings in this offseason, although others likely stick to the proverbial hot seat. Sacramento's control situation may influence Keith Smart's future, Dwane Casey in Toronto might take trouble and some coaches of playoff groups mightn't be safe, both.
