Alan Pardew could see Aurelien Chedjou as a long-term replacement Fabricio Coloccini My representative [Gregory] Gelebert is working with the clubs interested in me Aurelien Chedjou The Lille centre-back has also attracted the interest of Valencia but Alan Pardew could come to help make the 27-year-old his replacement Fabricio Coloccini, who's unsettled at St James' Park. Chedjou said: "I am happy when groups are being associated with me because it implies that I'm successful. "My agent [Gregory] Gelebert is working together with the clubs interested in me, but I'm comfortable in regards to the situation. "Newcastle have shopped in France before and with the likes of (Yohan) Cabaye and former Lille right-back (Mathieu) Debuchy there already, so I will be in an excellent atmosphere. "But there's nothing formal with Newcastle just yet. It is all paper talk."
