Mourinho to discuss Real potential - FOXSports.com

UpdatedAApr 10, 2013 8:20 PM ET Real Madrid director Jose Mourinho insists he will perhaps not decide on his future before end of the season. Mourinho has a deal with Madrid until 2016 but there's been nearly constant speculation about whether he will carry on at the Bernabeu next season. The Portuguese was again asked about his future following Tuesday night's Champions League quarter-final achievement over Galatasaray, and the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss said he will talk with Real leader Florentino Perez come july 1st. "When the season ends I'll sit down with who I've to sit down with, who as well as being the leader can also be my friend and may be the legal and psychological representative of most Real Madrid fans," he explained. "We will take a seat quietly and speak about my potential, like two friends." If Mourinho does decide to leave Madrid come early july he could do etc the back of a dual prize achievement. Madrid are already through to the ultimate of the Copa del Rey, where they face Atletico Madrid and their place was sealed by them in the semi-finals of the Champions League with a 5-3 combination triumph over Galatasaray. It was tougher than many had expected, especially after Madrid had gone 4-0 up overall with Cristiano Ronaldo's early target in the second leg in Turkey, but their desire a 10th European Cup title in 2013 remains unchanged. Mourinho said: "I haven't had time to think and stop if I was concerned or not, but when I was forced to produce changes and close-up the room I knew the situation was difficult. "I put (Raul) Albiol in front of the defense and there were 10 dangerous minutes before things settled down." He added: "I am happy about qualifying. I would like to play at this ground every fit, everybody wants to play in atmospheres like this, it is ideal for baseball and the Real Madrid players weren't thought by me used it. The Galatasaray participants did. They'd an excellent second half, enjoyed delight and all that's good about football. "We may have done better, but I'm happy for Galatasaray's people and the instructor, who went there in the simplest way possible." Madrid have now reached the last four of the Champions League in each of Mourinho's three seasons in charge, having formerly been knocked out at the last-16 stage in six consecutive seasons. Standing in how of Madrid and a primary final look since 2002 are some of Europe's top edges, with Borussia Dortmund also through to the past four and Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain hoping to become listed on them. Looking forward to Friday's draw, Mourinho said: "The draw doesn't indicate much as Borussia is going to be there and possibly Barcelona and Bayern, three top groups that are among the best in Europe. "They (semi-finals) is going to be two big games to enjoy and give anything in. "I prefer to play against my friends. I have those in Paris and perhaps not in Barcelona. (But) the semi-finals are not the objective of the team and I understand that."
