UPDATED: 17:07 EST, 11 April 2013 Manchester City have registered Arsenal and Manchester United by showing interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze. Gotze was guilty of a bunch of missed chances in the Champions League quarter-final link with Malaga that went right to the wire, but his profligacy before target hasn't delay would-be buyers. Target: Borussia Dortmund playmaker Mario Gotze (left) is a target for Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal The small German star has 14 targets for Dortmund in 2013 and has already played 22 moments for the national side. He said within an interview with German TV station Sport1 last month: 'Clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United are beautiful, different top leagues might help me build. 'But I'm not thinking of that right now. Prevention? The 20-year-old signed a new contract but this is impossible to put down his suitors 'I am happy in Dortmund and very happy how things are going. Thus, it's still somewhat away' Goetze signed a contract extension which will keep him at the Westfalenstadion to March 2016 but this really is unlikely to deter his fans. He added: 'Yes [the deal was an indicator he would remain in Dortmund], otherwise I'd not be renewed. Then there could have been no reason for it.'
