The Worst No-Shows of the 2013 NHL Playoffs so far.

Many of the hoopla surrounding the reemergence of Alex Ovechkin quickly fell by the wayside, as the Washington Capitals fell to your New York Rangers around seven games despite needing two chances to around out the Blueshirts.

He managed a particular goal and one help in the seven-game series and was closed by Ryan McDonagh with every turn. After Sport 2, Ovi would be held at bay, failing to light the lamp with the remainder of the sequence.

Ovechkin put plenty of rubber using the web and maintained a physical presence at moments, but one goal within seven games after averaging a goal per game across the final 23 regular-season games is quite the disappearing act.

Not well enough for Ovi, not good enough to your Capitals and certainly not adequate enough to advance to your second round. One guy would possibly not win a championship, but a new player doesn't have to vaporize into nothing either (h/t the Oregon Post).
