It had been reported a week ago that he has made a decision to bring back the event-filled weekendAon May 24-26. Keeping the good thing going is a clever move by Malzahn and the others of the Auburn training staff. The week-end is geared around getting the top 25 to 30 targets on the Tigers' wish list for the school of 2014. Although it is a footballArecruiting event, it has almost no to complete with basketball and a lot more to do with developing relationships with the recruits and their own families. Beneath the former staff, Big Cat was a fun-filled week-end that involved activitiesAthat ranged from cookouts to Family Feud. Former RB coach and recruiting planner Curtis Luper offered Auburn followers a glimpse of the week-end last spring (per Charles Goldberg, al.com ): However it is really the opportunity for the players to socialize and for the families to socialize with our families and our players. They could just forget about recruiting and football for a weekend. We've plenty of unique games and contests, some Family Feud-type contests, and other unique issues.
